My dearest community, supporters, and partners,
My heart is overflowing with immense joy and anticipation as we prepare for a monumental moment in our journey: the grand launch of our new Vocational Hub for Vulnerable Women and Girls in Benin City, Edo State! This hub isn't just a project; it's a promise, a dream realized, and a powerful symbol of our commitment to creating sustainable futures for those who need it most.

From Passion to Purpose: The Heart of This Mission
For too long, women and girls in our community have faced silent struggles. They are the survivors of abuse, the victims of domestic violence, the girls who had to drop out of school to hawk on the streets. Their potential is often trapped by circumstance. But under the leadership of the Women Helping Women (WHW) Foundation, we are passionately dedicated to breaking these cycles of stagnation. Our core belief is simple but profound: empowerment is born from practical skills.
We've seen this transformation with our own eyes, witnessing over 5,000 women and girls find new hope through our missions in Edo State and Ghana. This hub is a deeply personal calling, driven by my unwavering conviction that when you empower one woman, you ignite a powerful force that can uplift an entire nation. The Benin City Vocational Hub will be a permanent sanctuary of learning, dignity, and growth—a safe space where the most vulnerable can overcome barriers and begin writing their own success stories.
"Design Her Future": Our Call to Action
The theme for our new hub is "Design Her Future: Equipping women and girls with creative and entrepreneurial skills for inclusive growth." This isn't just a theme; it's our rallying cry. The hub will be a hands-on center, offering market-ready skills that will lead directly to economic independence, foster an unstoppable entrepreneurial spirit, and build true resilience.
This incredible initiative is a testament to the power of partnership. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our collaborators, who share our vision and have helped make this dream a reality:
Office of the first lady, Edo state
Victorious Living Fellowship
Ministry of Women Affairs
Edo State Diaspora Agency
Edo State Board for Technical & Vocational Education
Join Us and Celebrate Hope
We are reaching out to you—our cherished community—and inviting you to be part of this significant milestone. Your presence at our grand opening will be a powerful declaration of our shared commitment to transforming lives. Come, witness the beginning of this new chapter, and stand with us as we build a future where every woman and girl can not only survive but truly thrive.
